The n72ap uses a different bootloader due to the different processor. Because of the change in hardware, they would also have been able to fix the DFU exploit in their bootrom code. Bootrom code can only be repaired via hardware updates, as once the chip is flashed there is no way to modify it.

Dev Team,

I'm a little lost, I'm not sure if there is an update for the iPhone 3G now or not? I'm presently using the iPhone software ver. 2.0.1 and it's asking me to update to ver 2.0.2. I am running WIndows XP. If I use the update will my phone still be pwned? or will I loose all info? Is your update working or should I wait for a newer version? Due to work I haven't been following your blogs the last few weeks, so I'm a little lost. guidance needed in the right area.

Why is it that whenever I jailbreak my phone, i get only one bar of service after? I can't send texts either because it says "error sending message"

anyone else have this problem?

Hi, win XP terminate this QuickPwnGui120 software, quickpwn.exe has encountered a problem and need to close and microsoft would llke me to receive this report. I don't know how to fix this problem, should I need to update something here and block the microsoft administer.

Hi, I have win XP home edition, download QuickPwn RC3, iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw firmware, iTunes 7.7.1, so, I click the iPone 3G on QuickPwn RC3 software, next click on iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw and it stuck is not working for me. Please, help me......help me......thank.

iphone_shady i did your steps but in the console where it installs the jailbreak at step 8 i think it writes please wait while it jailbroken..but the iphone restarted and has the cyndia..and stuff but the console still remain on please wait..so i closed the console...and everything looks ok so far

When i unlocked my iPhone (firmware 2.0.2) all works great. But my Network is not working. I cant recieve or make call's. How to fix this?

Never mind, solved it myself. I had to manually delete all 4.2gb of my music using ftp. all is well now.

How do you unlock th first generation Iphone with Cydia after you quickpwn it. I quickpwned it and have the 2.0.2 Version. but now I am stuck I installed Bootneuter too but dont know what to do next. and another question is when i download Bootneuter it gives me option like 3.6 and 4.0 and few othr option please let me know which option I have to choose and the steps thank you

I own a 3g iphone bought in U.K> O2, I my using it in Malaysia with Rebelsim to unlock . I also have upgrade to V 2.02 and then when i finish pwning with V 2.03 Itune keep asking for activation with the original sim card that comes with the phone which i dont have it. can somebody help..what i should do now?

Help, i own a 3g iphone bought in uk. O2. I m using it in Malaysia. After i upgrated it to v.2.02 and then i PAWN it with Pawnage 2.03 I m also using a Rebelsim to unlock. The problem is after i restore itune keep asking for a active simcard from O2 to activate the phone. So what should i do now?

I uncheckt the Bootlogo, but now the startup logo has changed to a pinapple anyway!

Hardware Problem.... Please help... I have a 2G iPhone with FW 2.0.2 after using QuickPwn for windows. I have a White Line across my display. I did drop my iPhone but that was couple of weeks before this line started to appear. It became longer in couple of days and now its right across my screen. Any fix for this?
