It spends forever verifying the software. I try to restore to 2.0.1 and that is hung up as well. My iPhone is now out of service. The only screen that shows up on the phone is one showing to connect it via USB to itunes. Any suggestions?

Re: Thanks for waiting :)

my iphone is not connecting to itunes for some reason. the connect to itunes symbol keeps coming up. will the unlock software opem my phone up. its a firts gen phone

Re: Thanks for waiting :)

JAILBREAK & ACTIVE

Re: Thanks for waiting :)

Thanks... Helped lots and everything else went smoothly. Good I read the comments first otherwise wouldnt have realised should open as a new iPhone on iTunes after the procedure.
Thanks!!!!!

Re: Thanks for waiting :)

I downloaded pwnage tool 2.0.1 for the iphone (1st gen) I decided to erase all settings and restart from my phone and now its been stuck on the pineapple logo for well over 6 hours.
