Need help = I'm from HK. If i have a "3" network card (Apple authorized iphone dealer), can I simply upgrade my 2G iPhone to official FW 2.2 then use that card without unlocking?

I had that problem too before and it worked again after i deleted every Installer 4.0 app
i think mainly it was the RiP Dev Preference app and I think KATE as well....
I stop using Installer 4.0 it sux

I need help I jailbreaked my Iphone 3G with firmware 2.1 and now I can't use the phone app which means I can't make calls and if I answer a call I can't hangup which is really bad is there anything I can do or do I need to do it all over again.

Hi!
I have problem. I jailbreaked my iphone and upgrading to 2.1 version. then i pressed in iphone settings "Erase All"
and phone was erased but then iphone dont whant to start every time it shows that ananas and nothing :)
What it can be?

I just got an iPhone from a friend who was using AT&T. He has 2.1 installed in it. Do I have to be really concerned withing finding a 2.1 jailbreak?

2.0.2 upgrade has been a bust for me. It spends forever verifying the software. I try to restore to 2.0.1 and that is hung up as well. My iPhone is now out of service. The only screen that shows up on the phone is one showing to connect it via USB to itunes. Any suggestions?

my iphone is not connecting to itunes for some reason. the connect to itunes symbol keeps coming up. will the unlock software opem my phone up. its a firts gen phone

I was a bit worried about doing this but it went fine.
Downloaded the firmware package as cimkeri directed and the bootloaders from the links given by commenters.
I have a 1st generation iPhone originally hacked and unlocked by something other than Pwnage.
Loved the directed DFU in the newest version! Helped lots and everything else went smoothly. Good I read the comments first otherwise wouldnt have realised should open as a new iPhone on iTunes after the procedure.

I downloaded pwnage tool 2.0.1 for the iphone (1st gen) I decided to erase all settings and restart from my phone and now its been stuck on the pineapple logo for well over 6 hours. It does not show show up in my itunes library when I plug it in. Could somebody please help!

After unlock for my 2g my mail would not work so i restored to a new iphone in dfu mode accidentally and my contacts will not sync. how do i get my mail to work and my contacts to sync.
